Up to 800 metre Line of Sight (LOS) range to house – no wiring required between the gate and house.
What does this really mean?
NO it doesn't have to be line of site. If you have a line of sight situation - it will transmit 800 metres. If there are trees, buildings between the sensor and the house etc, you may only get 500, 600 or possibly 700 metres range. This additional point to point beam kit provides everything to cover one driveway including the receiver in the house.
Kit Includes

The Sensor (on the driveway) is powered by an inbuilt solar panel. The dual beams have a 100 metre range between the emmitter and receiver. So any person, car or large animal moving between the sensors will activate the receiver in the house. The beams can be mounted at any height. Mounting at 1.2 metres off the ground will mean that dogs can pass under the sensor without triggering them off. The sensor will send a signal up to 800 metres (1/2 mile) to the Receiver (In the house) when it is activated.
Up to 3 Beam sets can be added to the system. The Sensor can be a mix of the following types
- DCMT - 2500 - ANZ, PIR Sensor,
- DCPT - 2500 - ANZ, Probe Transmitter
- BBT - 2500 - ANZ, Point to Point Beam Transmitter
- DCPT - 2500 - ANZ, Rubber Hose Transmitter
