How it works
The Beam Sensors are set up on the driveway or area you want to monitor. There are 2 Beam Sensors in the kit, and these can be mounted up to 100 metres apart on a solid post or building. There is 2 (invisible) beams that are transmitted between the Beam Sensors. Anything interrupting the beams will cause a signal to be sent to the Alert Receiver, which plays a tone to alert you – so is usually set up in your house, shed, office etc.
The Beam Sensors and Alert Receiver can be up to 1.6km (1.0 mile) between them.
What else do I need to know?
Beam Sensors
The Beam Sensors (on the driveway) are solar powered.
Batteries keep the Beam Sensors operating at night.
Receiver
The Alert Receiver is not included with this product.
