How it works
The Beams are set up on the driveway or in any area you want to monitor. The Beam set has 2 components – beams transmitter and a receiver. These can be mounted up to 100 metres apart on a solid post or building. There is 2 (invisible) beams between them. Anything interrupting the beams will cause a signal to be sent to the receiver (which notifies you – so usually set up in your house, shed, office etc.).
The kit has a range of 1.6km (1.0 mile) between the Beams and the Receiver.

Alert Receiver Plus
The Alert Receiver Plus (in the house) is powered by a plug pack, which plugs into a wall socket (this is included in the kit).
The Alert Receiver Plus has two relay outputs, for the connection of other devices.
Your Alert Receiver Plus has four different volume levels.
You can program your Alert Receiver Plus to play one of 16 tunes.
If you have more than one Alert Sensor connected to your receiver, you can program your receiver to play a different sound for each Alert Sensor to help you identify which entranceway someone has entered by.
