How it works
The Universal Transmitter Kit is set up on the access way you want to monitor (ie door, window, gate etc). The Universal Transmitter is set up on one side of the Access (ie door frame) and the Magnetic Contact on the other piece (ie the door). When the Universal Transmitter is separated from the Magnetic Contact, a signal is sent back to your receiver unit, which plays a tone to alert you – so is usually set up in your house, shed, office etc. The Alert Receiver is not included with this product.
The Universal Transmitter also has a button on it, so you can use like a doorbell.
The kit has a range of 1.6km (1.0 mile) between the Universal Transmitter and the receiver.
