How it works
The Universal Transmitter Kit is set up on the access way you want to monitor (ie door, window, gate etc). The Universal Transmitter is set up on one side of the Access (ie door frame) and the Magnetic Contact on the other piece (ie the door). When the Universal Transmitter is separated from the Magnetic Contact, a signal is sent back to your receiver unit, which plays a tone to alert you – so is usually set up in your house, shed, office etc. The Alert Receiver Plus allows for the connection of two accessories which will allow you to be hear the alerts at other points on your property.
The Universal Transmitter also has a button on it, so you can use like a doorbell.
The kit has a range of 1.6km (1.0 mile) between the Universal Transmitter and the receiver.

Universal Transmitter
The Universal Transmitter is powered by battery.
Alert Receiver Plus
The Alert Receiver Plus (in the house) is powered by a plug pack, which plugs into a wall socket (this is included in the kit).
The Alert Receiver Plus has two relay outputs, for the connection of other devices.
Your Alert Receiver Plus has four different volume levels.
You can program your Alert Receiver Plus to play one of 16 tunes.
If you have more than one Alert Sensor connected to your receiver, you can program your receiver to play a different sound for each Alert Sensor to help you identify which entranceway someone has entered by.
