How it works
The Alert Sensor is set up on the driveway (or entrance point) you want to monitor. The Alert Sensor has an adjustable detection range from 7 to 30 metres, it is set up at a 15 metre default so any moving heat source (ie person, vehicle or animal) moving within the set coverage range will activate the Alert Sensor. The Alert Sensor detects moving heat sources and will therefore not be triggered by moving trees or shrubs.
Upon being activated, the Alert Sensor will send a signal back to your receiver unit, which plays a tone to alert you – so is usually set up in your house, shed, office etc. The Alert Receiver is not included with this product.
The kit has a range of 1.6km (1.0 mile) between the Alert Sensor and the Alert Receiver.
